" The short version: If you're moving to Greensboro and need to buy a house, just hire Stacy. Really. The long version: Our move from Southern California to Greensboro happened rather suddenly. My husband and I have never even visited the South before, and now we had 4 days to perhaps find our next home in a completely unfamiliar part of the country. We chose to contact Stacy mostly due to the reviews here on Yelp saying she is very experienced in helping people find a house remotely. We met Stacy on our first day in town, and the first thing she did was to sit us down and explain to us in great detail the process of buying a house in NC. It's not quite like it is CA for sure. Then she drove us around the surrounding neighborhoods to help us understand what each area is like. She is also a native of Greensboro, and she knows this place and the schools like the back of her hand. For the next 3 days, we toured about a dozen houses, and with each house, she helped us think through if the house is right for us. On the last day here, we found a great house that was slightly out of our price range. By the time we talked to her about putting an offer, it was already pretty late in the day. Stacy helped us strategize and submit the offer after hours. A few hours later, the seller accepted the offer, and the rest was history. We live in this house now in large part thanks to Stacy. WAIT, but that's not all! For the next two months, between the time we entered escrow to us actually moving into the house, Stacy babysat the house for us and made sure the pipes did not freeze when it snowed in Greensboro. She also has contacts and referrals to service people if you don't know where to look. She handled the fixing up of the house and move-in cleaning in our absence. She did way more than what I'd expect from any real estate agent. I am currently trying to convince a good friend to move back to NC and hopefully to the Greensboro area, and my friend has been renting for too long and paying too much in LA. If this friend winds up moving to Greensboro area, you bet I will send her to Stacy. "
